Majanicho — North Fuerteventura

Majanicho is a fishing hamlet on the north coast whose reef is primarily a surf spot: a fast, hollow right-hand point breaking over a shallow volcanic reef into a sheltered bay. Wind sports are only secondary, coming into play in the windier summer months (May–August) when the stronger NE trades add chop and wind-swell for kite and wing. It is not a beginner or school spot, and there are no facilities in the village.

Wind: 18–30 kn · N, NE — Sports: surf, kite, wing, SUP — Level: advanced

Rules: No kite or wind zoning is documented; it is a surf reef with surf priority. Respect the village.

Caution: Shallow volcanic reef with hard landings at low water, rocks, current and rip (strong at El Pueblo), a reef walk, sea urchins, localism and no rescue service.
