Bosa Marina — West Sardinia

Beach + Temo river mouth. Wave/sail in NW.

Wind: 10–30 kn · W, NW — Sports: windsurf, kite, surf, SUP — Level: all levels — On site: school, rental, food, WC

Water: Conditions vary across the bay: flat/sheltered near the harbour/pier (left side), building to chop and real waves (up to ~2m) toward the exposed Isola Rossa side (right).

Launch: Launch from the beach behind the pier/harbour area; water deepens quickly offshore, making launching directly from the water difficult, so riders typically walk in from the sand behind sunbathers. Windsurfing Club Bosa Marina offers courses and rental on site.

Rules: Long sandy bay by the Temo river mouth with a windsurf/kite school and rental. The left near the harbour is sheltered with little wave; the right side toward Isola Rossa gets the full, strong Maestrale.

Caution: Maestrale can be very strong on the exposed right side; rocky pier/Isola Rossa to the south. River-mouth water quality can vary after rain.
