Launch: Maddalena Beach: rig/launch only through the official corridor run by the local kite school (Kite Zone Sardegna) — exit through the corridor and never return through the swimmer area. Kopperton (south end of the same beach, aka Torre degli Ulivi): park on the left side of the parking area, no official corridor but check locally before entering; quieter, fewer swimmers, sometimes used by Kite House Sardinia and Hyperisland for guided sessions.
Rules: Best in summer thermal southerlies and Scirocco; the afternoon thermal (from ~1 pm) typically reaches 14–20 kn. Kiters must launch and land through the local school's corridor only — leaving the corridor is not allowed. The end section (Copperton) is quieter but has no services.
Caution: Choppy water; beach sits between a refinery and industrial zone, though the water is clean.
