Water: Large, open sandy bay, water goes deep quickly close to shore. Predominantly flat/chop freeride water in scirocco conditions — this is NOT a wave spot even in other wind/swell conditions, because the immediately-deep water produces disorganized, unsurfable chop rather than a rideable wave.
Launch: Rig calmly under the pines by the car park at the end of Via Lungomare di Cardedu, where there's also a freshwater shower/tap. The beach is very wide, giving ample room for multiple kiters/windsurfers without conflicting with swimmers in summer. The school's own base is at Museddu Ponte Uno, Cardedu (NU) 08040.
Rules: Open sandy bay (Museddu/Foddini) by the Kitesurf Ogliastra centre; best in thermal Scirocco (SE), side-shore and consistent. Rig under the pines by the parking and rinse at the freshwater tap.
Caution: Water deepens quickly off the beach and SE swell brings a wave/shore break, so it suits riders past the beginner stage.
