Wind: 15–35 kn · NW, W — Sports: surf, windsurf — Level: advanced
Water: Waves break on a rocky reef mid-bay: ~100m from shore bigger/expert-only, ~50m from shore softer and clean, suitable for intermediate/beginner surfers — 'a real playground for everyone' per one first-hand report. Best days offer up to 700m of surfable wall.
Launch: Beach entry a few metres from the natural arch (l'Archittu). As of mid-2025, parking is mixed: a free lot close to the beach plus a new paid zone (592 car + 17 motorcycle blue-line spaces, €1.30/hr, €4 up to 6h, €6.50 beyond, 8:00-20:00).
Rules: Right-hand point/reef break working with Ponente, Maestrale and Libeccio; best on large SW swells, holds some offshore wind from the ENE with shelter from N. Inconsistent, mostly flat in summer.
Caution: Rocky bottom and the rock arch — rocks are the main hazard; for intermediate-to-advanced surfers only. Rarely crowded.
